Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with that perfect vintage look - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, buckle rash & some tarnish on the hardware. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Three-piece slender mahogany neck with volute. Nicely aged cream binding with tortoise side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Small frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Kluson Deluxe "waffle back" tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with maple top. Multi-layer top & back binding with 5-ply black pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 3-ply black jackplate & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 9.7 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '70 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
