A dynamite player with a an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! The Cherry Sunburst finish is still quite vibrant & the slender profile neck is an absolute dream to play anywhere on the fretboard. The double humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver rich, muscular tones. Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with only some mild play wear - various tiny nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some hardware tarnish. Overall the guitar looks great & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile, 3-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with split diamond inlays. Kluson "waffle back" tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with plain maple top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. Original pickguard is missing. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 4.5 oz.
Electronics: Gibson humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 7.51K ohms; Neck - 7.50K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
