100% original & a dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! The cherry sunburst finish is still quite vibrant & the silky smooth neck is a joy to play anywhere on the fretboard. The double humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver rich, muscular tones. Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. There's a small chip out of the back corner of the headstock, treble side. Not too bad, but thought we should call it out.
Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile 3-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Twentieth Anniversay inlay in the 12th fret. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with split diamond inlays. Grover tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with 3-piece plain maple top finished in Cherry Sunburst. Multi-layer top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & gold jackplate. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 15.6 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 9.60K ohms; Neck - 8.89K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
