Made for only a brief moment, this rare model features a three-piece flame maple neck with two walnut strips; double humbuckers with coil splitter; TP-6 tailpiece & gold hardware. The top is finished in a beautiful Antique Sunburst & this one is number 3566 in the limited run series. Original paperwork & hardshell case included. This stunning Les Paul would make an excellent addition to any vintage guitar afficionado's collection.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age - this beauty looks like it was made this morning! Clean condition & pretty much tucked away for the past 40 plus years!
Neck: Slim taper maple & walnut neck with lots of gorgeous flame figuring. Nicely aged white binding with abalone dot inlays. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl split block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl 25/50 inlay. Gibson gold diecast tuners with chrome buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple top finished in Antique Sunburst. TP-6 tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 11 lbs 1.6 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 16.23K ohms; Neck - 16.06K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way pickup selector & 2-way mini toggle for coil splitting. Pots date to '78 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Gibson paperwork.
