A gorgeous sounding all-mahogany archtop with a rich, punchy tone. Fun to play with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish blemishes. There's an extra screw hole in the back of the headstock & also what appears to be an attempt at an additional strap button on the treble-side of the body. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal open-gear strip tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Double-bound archtop with dual F-holes. Mahogany top, back & sides with tortoise pickguard. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with modified crossbar & compensated rosewood bridge & base. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.3 oz.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
