Description
What makes this guitar special: A nice square shoulder J-50 with a rich, woody tone that's really fun to play. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. There are a few very minor top cracks that were professionally glued. The bridge also needed to be reglued & has an additional piece of rosewood laminate underneath it for extra support. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & adjustable saddle. Tortoise pickguard with multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.3 oz. There are no electronics.
Case: Vintage Gibson chipboard case included.
