Description
An excellent player's grade J-45 finished in classic Cherry Sunburst. This loud, boisterous slope shoulder dreadnought is so much fun to play & the neck is super comfy anywhere on the fretboard. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a couple of professionally repaired top cracks - one at the base of the treble-side of the neck/soundhole & the other runs along the pickguard from the soundhole to the bridge. The top seam separated a bit so that was also glued & cleated as well. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Double-bound, slope shoulder dreadnought. Solid spruce top finished in cherry sunburst. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Unoriginal rosewood bridge with mother of pearl dot inlays & black bridge pins. Solid mahogany back & sides in cherry finish. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 2.3 oz.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
