This beauty was made for heavy strumming & boasts a huge, massive tone that seems to project for miles. It truly has a gorgeous voice - very rich & dynamic with marvelous sustain. The semi-chunky neck is very comfortable to play & thanks to an under-saddle pickup, the guitar is stage-ready whenever you are. Pro set up included so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: You can always tell when it's someone's favorite guitar because of the wear. You know it's a good one & this one certainly has it - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. Overall the guitar has a really cool vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in good working condition. There's an old store decal on the back of the headstock which we left on. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, Jumbo size body with solid spruce top. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid maple back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.9 oz.
Electronics: Fishman active under-saddle pickup in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The latch portion for the combination lock broke off, but is included. Also included is the original warranty card.
