Description
A true vintage Hummingbird with that authentic, well-worn look that just cannot be replicated by any factory relic job. This one is the real deal! She's seen a lot of action & has tons of stories to tell. Vocally it delivers a bright, punchy tone that really cuts & the slender profile neck is a real joy to play.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The inside label is missing. There are a couple of repaired top cracks on the treble side, lower bout & one on the back, bass side, lower bout. There's a hole in the treble side of the body from a previous input jack & some of the body binding had deteriorated & needed to be replaced. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, true vintage look with a beautiful patina.

Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Rosewood bridge is firmly attached to the top with no lifting. Tortoise pickguard with hummingbird motif. Some of the motif has worn off over the years, but the guard itself is in great shape with no cracks. Mahogany back & sides with 5-ply binding.
