These old Grabber basses are becoming more & more popular again. Comes ready to rock with a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the bass has a cool, true vintage look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Unoriginal frets show only mild wear & have plenty of life in them. Looks like the fretboard was oversprayed. Gibson open-gear nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in Natural finish. String-thru bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. Large, black plexi pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has a nicely positioned unoriginal finger-rest. Bass weighs 8 lbs 4.9 oz.
Electronics: Sliding Gibson-embossed pickup. Master volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
