Description
Reissued in '89/90 as the V '67, this gorgeous example exudes all the warmth & charm we've come to admire about this iconic Gibson model. The white finish has aged beautifully over the years into more of a cream color & sports a siky smooth neck that feels comfortble anywhere on the fretboard. Loaded with a pair of dynamic sounding humbuckers that deliver rich, robust tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to perform straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some typical mild play wear for its age - various tiny nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some variegation in the finish. There's some writing in the pickup cavities from the previous owner. Overall the guitar looks great & has an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Wide, flat profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: V-shaped solid mahogany body with 4-ply large white pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with exposed coils. Bridge - 13.31K ohms; Neck - 7.26K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. There's a small chip in the tone knob's skirt. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There are plastic stoppers over the combination latch buttons because we do not know the combination numbers to the case.
