Description

What makes this guitar special: Well what can we really say about this one - it's got to be one of the gaudiest looking guitars we've seen in a long time. An argument could be made that someone either really loved or really hated this guitar, depending on your point of view. Personally I can't figure out the thought process on the choice of stickers, but hey - to each his own I guess. Looks aside, she's still a great player & I suppose if someone were ambitious enough, all the decals could probably be removed - good luck!

Cosmetic Condition: Completely littered with all sorts of decals & stickers that have no rhyme or reason. Underneath it all you will find various minor nicks, dents & dings; some weather checking & of course the white finished has aged into more of a cream color with variegation throughout. Overall the guitar is quite sound & plays great.

Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in good condition with just a tiny bit of wear & plenty of life in them. Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Solid mahogany body with Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 11 oz.

Electronics: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 15.18K ohms; Neck - 15.10K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is a bit beat up with some missing tolex, but is still quite solid & serves its purpose well.
