Made for only a short time, around '83 to '85, the Designer Series Explorer features unique custom design graphics on the top of the body, in this case a trio of black & two gold lines. Additional features include a Kahler tremolo bridge with locking nut & a pair of dynamite sounding humbuckers. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool look with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Professionally refretted & frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson diecast tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with locking nut; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Solid mahogany body with designer graphics. Kahler locking tremolo with adjustable roller saddles & chrome hardware. Trem arm is included. Single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 13.9 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 15.31K ohms; Neck - 15.07K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
