Description
A fantastic player's grade ES-345TD finished in classic Cherry. The guitar previously had a Bigsby tremolo on it, but the original Stopbar is now back on. The choke from the Varitone circuit has been removed, but is included with the guitar. The pickups are original & deliver muscular yet dynamic tones. The guitar is exceptionally resonant & plays perfectly thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The holes from the Bigsby have been filled. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic, true vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Wide, flat profile, one-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. 3-ply top binding & single-ply back binding. Original Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply black pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.1 oz. & is super resonant!
Electronics: Original Gibson Pat No humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 7.58K ohms; Neck - 7.49K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. The Varitone has been removed, but is included with the guitar. All electronics are in good working condition.
