The neck profile is slender at the lower frets & gradually increases in girth as you work your way up the fretboard, giving the guitar a really great feel. Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition for its age & very well cared for over the years, showing signs of mild play wear - various nicks, chips, dents, dings & scratches. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar has a cool vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body in sunburst finish. The orange oval label inside is missing. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply black pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 13.1 oz.
Electronics: Pat No. sticker humbuckers with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
