100% original, this gorgeous ES-175 offers a warm, rich tone with a beautiful acoustic resonance. The sunburst finish is very vibrant & there's some pretty birdseye figuring in the back of the body. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with only some mild play wear - various tiny nicks & dings; surface scratches & some weather checking.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe "double lip" tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss works fine.
Body: Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes & finished in 3-tone sunburst. 3-ply top binding & single-ply back binding. Chrome rapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape shape - it has curved a bit over time & shows some pick wear, but there are no cracks in it. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 14.4 oz.
Pickup: Gibson Patent Number humbucker with chrome cover & black bezel. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
