Description
If you're into short scale basses, these old Gibson EB models are fantastic! This one in particular is a real winner, offering excellent tone & feel. Professionally inspected & set up so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The bass has a killer, true vintage vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back "clover" tuners in good working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable nylon saddles & original bridge cover. The mute slide functions & has a new pad on it. 3-ply black pickguard with wooden tugbar. Bass weighs 7 lbs 9.1 oz.
Electronics: Full size neck humbucker with master volume & tone controls. Pots date to '69 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included, but the handle is missing.
