Description
100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner, we're proud to present this gorgeous Country Western square shoulder dreadnought in Natural finish. A fabulous player with a rich, deep, robust voice that projects exceptionall well. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Nice shape for being nearly 60 years old - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets show a little bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreanought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Plastic bridge with adjustable ceramic saddle. The bridge has pulled up a bit from the back, but these bridges were bolted in so it's a typical occurrence & does not affect playability. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany sides & back with 5-ply binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 10 oz.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
