Modeled after one of the most iconic guitars in history & loaded with premium features, this B.B. King Lucille has tons of tonal variance with positively stellar playability. It's obviously been somewhat of a case-kept piece, with very little play wear throughout. The slim tapered neck profile is quick and comfortable, especially in conjunction with the smooth ebony fingerboard. The semi-hollow design is extremely resonant as well, allowing for ample sustain. And to top it off, this one is finished in a gorgeous cherry red - a rare find for this model! It's been professionally set up & inspected by our in-house experts & will arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition & very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Lucille inlay & brass truss rod cover with B.B. King engraving. Gibson diecast tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow maple body with multi-layer binding. TP-6 tailpiece with micro-tuners & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. Tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 0.1 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way toggle switch & 6-position Varitone for a wide array of tonal possibilities. Mono & Stereo outputs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hard shell case included with a little bit of discoloration on the shroud.
