Made for only a brief moment in the late '60s to early '70s, the B-15 was another well-built student model acoustic from Gibson. This particular version features an all-mahogany body with mahogany neck. Very loud & punchy for such a small body guitar - easy to play & tons of fun! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready for you straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. Overall the guitar looks good & has a cool vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Unoriginal strip tuner in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany top with single-line rosette & tortoise pickguard. Rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 14.2 oz.
