What makes this guitar special: Making its debut in 1982, this gorgeous Goldtop was created to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Les Paul. Designed to look more like a '57 or '58 model with a pair of Pat No. humbuckers & featuring a 30th Anniversary logo in the 19th fret inlay. An exceptional piece, with superb tone & playability. Cosmetic Condition: Remarkable condition for its age & showing really little to no wear, aside from a few tiny nicks & dings and mild weather checking. Overall the guitar looks marvelous & the gold finish is still quite strong & vibrant!
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap in gold finish & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & nickel jackplate. Guitar weighs 10.7 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Pat No humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 7.29K ohms; Neck - 7.23K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '80 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original hang tags & warranty card!
