In remarkably clean condition, this Galanti sounds, looks, and plays amazingly well. With a gorgeously figured curly maple neck, great action, and a very reasonable price point- this is a great piece to add to any vintage collection. Cosmetic Condition: Light surface scratches, a few small dings and dents, and some wear to the outer edge of the headstock do little to take away from how clean this guitar is for being so many decades old.
Neck: “C” shaped maple with a rosewood fingerboard. White dot inlays, white side dot markers, and a single string guide. The tuners are in perfect working order and the frets show little wear and have lots of life left in them. 1.650” nut width, 24.75” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been tested and is functioning properly.
Body: Contoured solid mahogany. White single ply pickguard, chrome vibrato tailpiece, and adjustable bridge. Whammy bars are included. Guitar weighs 8lbs 13.0oz.
Electronics: Dual chrome covered humbuckers measure 2.18K ohms at the neck and 2.42K ohms in the bridge position. 4 button switching system explained: 0- off 2- pickup 2 1- pickup 1 M- both pickups. Master volume and master tone controls. All electronics have been tested and are working perfectly.
