We've had a lot of vintage G&L's in the shop over the years, but this has got to be THE coolest looking one yet! Last year of the no 'guard, finished in an ultra cool Yellow with matching headstock, this SC-3 is a dynamite player! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear for a nearly 40-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings, scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck finished in yellow with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bullet truss rod & Sperzel locking tuners. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in yellow.G&L tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.3 oz.
Electronics: G&L proprietary single coils with black covers. Master volume & tone controls with 5-way selector switch. Pots date to '86 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original owner's manual.
