Description
We've had a lot of vintage G&L's in the shop over the years, but this has got to be THE coolest looking one yet! Finished in a very unique Fiesta Red/Orange, this SC-2 is a dynamite guitar & a badass player! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear for a 40-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings, scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The previous owner's SSN is scratched into the back of the headstock. Overall the guitar has a graet look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original small frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Bullet truss rod and G&L embossed tuners in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid alder body with a beautifully aged Fiesta Red/Orange finish. Top-loading bridge with six adjustable saddles & black hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.9 oz.
Electronics: G&L proprietary single coils with black covers. Bridge - 5.39K ohms; Neck - 4.90K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way selector switch. Pots date to '82 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Peavey hardshell case included.
