Description
A vintage 1978 Fender Twin Reverb 2x12 tube combo amp in player-grade condition. This is the final and most powerful version of the Twin Reverb, featuring a 135-watt ultralinear output section. It has clean headroom for days. This example has a few minor mods. The phase inverter and bias section have been converted to Blackface-era circuits. Additionally, the push/pull master volume has been converted to a traditional master volume, and the heater supply hum balance control has been removed from the circuit in favor of a traditional non-adjustable balance. The power supply has been fully re-capped with brand new electrolytics.
Cosmentically, the amp has plenty of battle scars, but it is a solid player for years to come. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds great.
