Description
An awesome player's grade Tele due to the body finish being completely stripped off down to natural. Everything else is straight, though, and the guitar has a super cool, authentic vintage vibe to it. Killer tone & exceptionally resonant, this one's a sure fire winner! Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Again, the body finish has been completely stripped off, but the rest of the guitar is all correct. There are four small screw holes around the output jack from a previous square-shaped jackplate, but the original cup is back in. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. F-logo tuners & single string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date reads 3 NOV 67 B.
Body: Solid alder body in natural, stripped finish. String-thru bridge with three adjustable saddles & original bridge cover included. 3-ply white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. The white has aged nicely into more of a cream color. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.4 oz.
Electronics: Original Tele single coils with 3-way selector switch. Bridge - 5.79K ohms; Neck - 5.33K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
