Description
An ultra cool, true vintage player's grade Strat finished in classic 3-tone sunburst & just oozing with killer tone! An absolutely bad ass player that's priced right & ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest wear & tear, just the way we like them - nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear throughout. The word DEMO is stamped into the back of the neck & body, just above & below the neck plate.
Neck: Maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Big headstock with single string tree. Unoriginal Schaller tuners. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp dates to FEB 68.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo bridge with unoriginal saddles. A small portion of the original trem arm broke off inside the trem hole & is still stuck in there. 3-ply white pickguard is in good shape with no cracks, but the trem cover is missing. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6 oz.
Electronics: Original neck & middle single coils with staggered poles. Unoriginal DiMarzio bridge pickup. Bridge - 9.03K ohms; Middle - 5.63K ohms; Neck - 5.64K ohms.
Master volume & dual tone controls with original 3-way selector switch. The volume pot is unoriginal, however, both tone pots date to '66 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included - about the same condition as the guitar, with lots of wear & tear.
