Description
A dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! Authentic wear & tear and offering superb tone & playability. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking, buckle rash & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: B-shape maple neck with dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Original small frets show a little bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Spaghetti headstock logo with single string tree. However, there was a previous string tree added at one time that has since been removed, as evidenced by the additional small screw hole. Newer, repro tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 2 AUG 64 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo bridge with bent saddles & original trem arm included. 3-ply mint pickguard is in great shape with only one tiny crack near the neck pickup. Unfortunately the back trem cover is missing. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.5 oz. Great weight & very resonant!
Electronics: Three grey bottom single coils all date to '64. Bridge - 6.80K ohms; Middle - 6.07K ohms; Neck - 6.64K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with original 3-way selector switch. Pots date to '64 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Period-correct hardshell case included.
