Description
Fender's International Series Strats were produced between 1979 - '81 & featured both trem & hardtail versions in a variety of interesting finishes. This particular hardtail is 100% original & finished in an ultra cool Sahara Taupe. A dynamite player with a silky smooth neck that plays great anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded & somewhat chunky maple neck with some pretty flame figuring. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F-tuners work great. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finishsed in Sahara Taupe. String-thru hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles & 3-ply white pickguard. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 2 oz.
Electronics: Three single coils with black covers & flat poles. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
