Description

A super cool player's grade hardtail Strat in an ultra groovy black finish. Great feel & killer tone! A bad ass guitar professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.

Neck: Maple neck with black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Small frets show some wear, but still playable. Oversize headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Unoriginal Schaller tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" width graphite nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. The serial number on the headstock reads S986564 & the serial number on the neckplate reads 718637.

Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Black. The serial number sticker in the neck pocket reads S986568 (one digit off from the headstock). Hardtail string-thru bridge with six adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 6.6 oz.

Electronics: Three single coils with flat poles date to '81. Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs; 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included. The right-side clasp does not latch.
