Description
Made for only a brief moment around '83/'84, the Walnut Elite Stratocaster features a walnut body & neck with gold hardware; active electronics with noise-cancelling pickups, along with push buttons instead of the more common 5-way pickup selector switch. This one is all original & has been professionally set up, ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with only mild play wear - various minor nicks & dings; light surface scratches.
Neck: Soft V-shaped walnut neck with ebony fingerboard & dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Small headstock with double string trees. Fender gold diecast tuners with pearloid buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid walnut body in natural finish. Top-loading tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Unfortunately the trem arm is missing. 3-ply parchment pickguard & Elite script logo on the neck plate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 14.6 oz.
