Description
A dynamite player with a super groovy, true vintage vibe. Awesome tone & feel! Professionally set up & tons of fun to play!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The bass has a great look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear. Fender open-gear "clover" tuners & single round string-tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 5 JAN 72 A.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in black. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. The bass previously had a Badass bridge on it so there are two extra screw holes on either side of the bridge. 3-ply white pickguard has faded into more of a cream color, but is crack-free & has its original tugbar. Bass weighs 8 lbs 14.9 oz.
Electronics: Split single coil pickup with grey bottoms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. The pots are unoriginal, but all the electronics are fully functioning.
