Description
An awesome, true vintage P-Bass with a neck that shows off lots of pretty bird's eye figuring & is very comfortable to play anywhere on the fretboard. The body is finished in classic 3-tone sunburst & is fitted with a perfect sounding split single coil that delivers rich, robust tones. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Typical play wear for its age with an authentic vintage look & ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with lots of gorgeous bird's eye figuring. Beautifully figured rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Open-gear tuners work perfectly. 1 1/12" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original chrome bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has its original tugbar. Bass weighs 8 lbs 9.8 oz. Under 9lbs & very resonant!
Electronics: Original grey bottom split single coil pickup with original chrome cover. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The right clasp is missing.
