Description
An excellent player's grade P-Bass with an ultra cool, true vintage look. The bass was modified with DiMarzio P & J Bass pickups, along with a Badass bridge & Schaller tuners. The most interesting thing, though, are the side-dots along the neck. They are positioned right at the frets rather than centered in between them. We have a feeling this bass most likely started life as a fretless & may have been converted later on. Either way, it's certainly a great sounding bass, professionally set up by us & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Unoriginal Schaller tuners & round string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Unoriginal Badass Bass II bridge with adjustable saddles. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard with tugbar. Bass weighs 9 lbs 4.1 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal DiMarzip Precision & Jazz Bass pickups with cream covers. Dual volume & master tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
