Description
A smooth player with a really cool mod - the pickups are active Bartolini & a battery compartment was added in the back of the body. The neck feels great & plays comfortably up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty clean actually for being over 40 years old, but does show signs of mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some buckle rash.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard & chrome hardware. Bass weighs 9 lbs 4 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Bartolini active P-Bass pickup with 9-volt battery compartment in the back of the body. Master volume & concentric tone controls. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: SKB hardshell case included.
