Description
An absolutely gorgeous first-year Mustang finished in white & sporting a very slender neck that plays silky smooth up & down the fretboard. These have always been a favorite here at Cream City Music & thanks to a pro set up from out in-house specialist, it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being 55 years old, showing signs of mild play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish ageing. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe to it.
Neck: Skinny maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width with graphite nut; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp read 8 SEP 64 A.
Body: Offset, solid poplar body finished in white. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece & adjustable bridge with "barrel" saddles. 3-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7 oz.
Electronics: Original single coils with white covers. However, the pots, caps, switches & wiring are all newer. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage Fender hardshell case included.
