100% original & a superb player with a gorgeous, true vintage vibe. The neck feels great & plays comfortably anywhere on the fretboard. The single coil neck pickup sounds wonderful & produces a clean, bell-like tone. Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, typical for its age - various nicks, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. The Olympic White finish has aged beautifully over the years & shows off some nice variegation throughout. Overall the guitar looks marvelous & has a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, wide profile maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 8 DEC 65 B.
Body: Offset, solid poplar body finished in Olympic White. Top-loading bridge with three adjustable saddles. 3-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.8 oz.
Electronics: Grey bottom single coil with white cover - 5.87K ohms. Master volume & tone controls. Pots date to '65 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
