Description
A fantastic player's grade Jazzmaster due to a pro refret & a previous string-thru bridge that has since been removed. Exquisite tone & a smooth, comfortable feel. Fully inspected & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Six holes were drilled through the body for the previous bridge, but have been filled. There's also a ghosting image on the top of the body just below the pickguard from the previous bridge. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets that show no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with single string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 4 DEC 63 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm. Original six-saddle adjustable bridge is back on the guitar. 4-ply tortoise pickguard & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.5 oz.
Electronics: Original single coils with cream covers & 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with white skirted knobs. Slider switch & thumb wheels are fully functioning. Pots are unoriginal & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. Most of the black tolex has been removed from the edges.
