Description
An excellent player's grade Jazz Bass that's had the finish on the body completely stripped off down to natural & also on the back of the neck as well. Currently fitted with a pair of Lindy Fralin Jazz Bass single coils that kick out killer tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool vibe.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. The back of the neck has been sanded, but the front of the headstock & decals look original. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets. Frets are clean with no wear. Original Fender open-gear "clover" tuners & round string tree. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body stripped down to natural finish & oversprayed. Unoriginal top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. There is no bridge cover & the holes for the cover have been plugged in the body. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard & strap buttons. Bass weighs 9 lbs 1.1 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Lindy Fralin Jazz Bass single coils with cream covers. Dual volume & master tone controls with unoriginal knurled knobs. Pots are modern CTS & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The bottom of the case has cracked & separated a bit.
