What makes this bass special: A fabulous player's grade Jazz Bass refinished in an ultra cool Lake Placid Blue. The silky smooth neck plays great up & down the fretboard, and the double pickups deliver those signature Jazz Bass tones we all love. Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with some typical mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some light finish wear. Overall the bass looks great & has a wonderful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Fender open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine. Neck dates to '71.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body refinished in Lake Placid Blue. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. Unoriginal 3-ply mint pickguard with black finger rest. Bass weighs 9 lbs 4.1 oz.
Electronics: Original single coils with dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '71 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
