Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear just the way we like them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Wonderful look with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with beautiful, dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners with single string tree. The treble side has cream buttons & the bass side has nickel buttons. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 1 APR 65 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm included. Six-saddle adjustable bridge. The mute pad has hardened over the years & the bridge cover is missing. 4-ply tortoise pickguard has warped a bit, but there are no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual single coils with staggered poles; rhythm & lead circuits. Dual control wheels for individual volume & tone in rhythm circuit. 3 individual switches in lead circuit. Master volume & tone controls Pots date to '65 and all electronics are fully functional.
Case: '64-era no logo hardshell case included. The latch is missing from the right side.
