Made in Japan for only a short period of time in the mid to late '80s, Fender's Flame series features a neck-thru design on a double-cutaway body fitted with a pair of humbuckers. The Ultra model offers an ebony fingerboard with split block inlays, USA made Kahler tremolo bridge & gold hardware. Professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall with some mild play wear - various minor nicks, dents, dings & surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile set-neck with 3-ply cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl split block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. 5-ply bound headstock with mother of pearl inlay. Sealed Fender tuners with ebonoid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/6" nut width with locking nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body with 6-ply bound maple top. USA made Kahler tremolo bridge with gold hardware. Original trem arm is missing. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 11.4 oz.
Pickups: Special Design humbuckers with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black skirted Fender knobs; 3-way selector switch & 2-way mini toggle for coil splitting. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
