Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar has an authentic vintage look with a beautiful patina & a really great vibe to it.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. Batwing headstock with gold script logo. Repro Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, asymmetrical, solid mahogany body. Tremolo tailpiece was removed so there's just the wrap-around nickel bridge - and it makes the guitar sound marvelous! Single-ply white pickguard has aged nicely into a cream color & still has its original "E" emblem. Guitar weighs a delightful 5 lbs 12.4 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Pickup: Unoriginal Seymour Duncan mini humbucker - 15.05K ohms - killer! Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Both pots date to '66 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
