Description
These old semi-hollow basses are so much fun to play due to their warm, woody tone & comfortable feeling neck, and this Rivoli is no exception. Very simplistic with just a single neck humbucker & baritone switch for a groovy, vintage sound. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & weather checking. Overall the bass has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & tons of life in them. Open-gear chrome tuners work perfectly. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles. The mute slide is not attached to the bass, but is included in the case. However, it's missing the mute pad. The pickguard is also missing as is the bridge cover. Bass weighs 8 lbs 6.1 oz.
Electronics: Full-size neck humbucker with Baritone switch. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Gibson hardshell case included.
