Description
A real museum piece! Exceptionally clean & a great playing bass with a warm, natural acoustic tone thanks to its hollow body. Professionally inspected & set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean for its age with only some minor wear - mild chipping near the neck pocket; various tiny nicks & dings throughout with light surface scratches. Great shape overall.
Neck: Rounded maple neck with nicely aged cream binding. Rosewood fingerboard with silver dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. 4-ply tortoise headstock overlay with raised Conrad logo. Closed-back tuners work great. 1 9/16" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body in sunburst finish with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with 4-saddle adjustable bridge in a rosewood base. The mute assembly works perfectly & the mute pad is in great shape. 4-ply tortoise pickguard with rosewood tugbar. Bass weighs a delightful 6 lbs 13.3 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: One single coil pickup with rosewood bezel & 4-ply tortoise surround. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original chipboard case included - also in great shape!
