Description
According to Carvin's website, this now discontinued model was produced between 1977 & 1985. The serial number on this one is embossed in the back of the headstock & reads 8507. It features a pair of proprietary Carvin humbuckers with three mini switches for coil tapping & phase in/out. A silky smooth player with superb tone & a comfortable feel. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & basic, general play wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl headstock inlays. Schaller tuners stamped Made In W. Germany. 1 5/8" width brass nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works great.
Body: Solid maple body with single cutaway. Stop tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge & 5-ply small black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 11.6 oz.
Electronics: Carvin humbuckers with black bezels & 3-way selector switch. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. Three 2-way mini toggles for coil tapping & phase. Mono & Stereo outputs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case inlcuded.
