Description
Handmade by Augustino LoPrinzi in Clearwater, FL, this gorgeus CM-36 dreadnought features a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back & sides. The mahogany neck is super chunky, yet very comfortable to play. Offering a rich, robust tone & in fabulous condition for its age. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a repaired top crack (glued & cleated) & another crack on the bottom near the strap button; various tiny nicks & dings; surface scratches & mild weather checking.
Neck: Super chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show just a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Rosewood headstock veneer with mother of pearl inlay & Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 13/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with multi-layer top binding & single-ply back binding. Solid spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with cream end pins. Solid mahogany back & sides with dark center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.8 oz.
