The top features an absolutely gorgeous Bubbly Maple with lots of stunning quilt figuring. The double pickups sound fantastic & deliver warm, rich, dynamic tones that are pure Alembic. Included with the bass is its original work order from Alembic with warranty info - now how cool is that! Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age - a few tiny dings here & there with mild surface scratches. All in all a really clean looking bass with a great vibe to it.
Neck: Maple & Purple Heart with Ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl oval inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" width brass nut; 32" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid mahogany wings & bubbly maple top. Stop tailpiece & 4-saddle adjustable brass bridge. Bass weighs 9 lbs 13.6 oz.
Electronics: Dual Alembic pickups with 4-way rotary selector switch - bridge, both, neck & standby. Master volume & tone controls with large black knobs. 2-way Resonance switch; 3-way Treble Cut/Boost switch; 3-way Bass Cut/Boost switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original paperwork.
