Description
What makes this guitar special: A superb recreation of the Blue Floral Tele made back in the late '60s, this gorgeous MIJ model faithfully demonstrates everything we love about these guitars when they came out. Lightweight & incredibly resonant, this beauty is a sure fire winner & a definite must-have for any collector or player.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for a 30-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Much of the bright pink color of the flowers in the top of the body have faded & is much more prominent in the back. The neck has a wonderful caramel color to it & shows off some nice variegation in the wood grain. Overall the guitar has a great look with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Wide, flatter profile maple neck with "skunk" stripe & black dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Single string tree & vintage-style tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck pencil date reads 12-11-87.
Body: Solid alder body finished in Blue Floral design. String-thru bridge with vintage-style adjustable "barrel" saddles. Clear plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.0 oz.
