Description
What makes this guitar special: A set-neck MIJ beauty with a terrific vibe and absolutely stellar playability. An elite model of the flame series, this one is nicely ordained with pearl cross inlays, a beautifully variegated rosewood fingerboard, and a Kahler locking tremolo system for excellent tuning stability. The finish on this piece has aged wonderfully, from what was formerly white into a gorgeous pearl color. It’s been professionally setup by our in-house master luthier, to ensure that its looks match its playability.
Cosmetic condition: Expected playwear throughout, with various scratches, dents, nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs, with a few visible areas of finish checking and finish wear. The fingerboard binding shows some shrinkage in a couple areas, and some chipping in the finish near the first position along the edges as well. Overall, this one has a great look to it, with a gorgeous patina.
Body: Solid alder body with bound cap in aged white finish. Kahler locking tremolo bridge system with microtuners. Note: No tremolo arm is included with this guitar.
Neck: C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard shows some beautiful variegation, and frets show only mild wear, with a lot of life left in them. 1 11/16” locking nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Bound headstock with pearl Fender logo, “flame” signature, and “Elite” truss rod cover. Chrome sealed Fender tuners with pearl buttons function perfectly. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the length of the fingerboard.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers (Neck-8.92k ohms, Bridge-12.92k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch, coil-split toggle, and black knurled knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Unoriginal semi-hard shell case included.
